We break the process into manageable steps so nothing is overlooked:

1. Walkthrough & assessment: We start with a walkthrough of the property to understand the scope. We discuss your priorities — what you want to keep, what you want to donate, and what can be disposed of.
2. Sorting: We sort items into categories: Keep (for family), Donate, Sell, and Dispose. We set aside important documents, photographs, and valuables for your review.
3. Keepsake preservation: We carefully pack and label items you want to keep, so you can review them at your own pace. You don't have to make decisions on the spot.
4. Donation coordination: Usable furniture, clothing, and household items go to local charities. We provide donation receipts for tax purposes.
5. Bulk removal: We bring roll-off containers for items that need to be disposed of, and we handle all the heavy lifting and hauling.
6. Final cleaning: Once the home is cleared, we do a final sweep and broom-clean so the property is ready for sale or transfer.

One of the biggest concerns families have is what happens to their loved one's belongings. Here's how we handle each category:

• Keepsakes & valuables: These are set aside and packed carefully for family members. We never dispose of items without your explicit approval.
• Important documents: We search for and set aside wills, deeds, insurance policies, tax returns, birth certificates, and other critical documents.
• Donations: Furniture, clothing, books, and usable household items go to local Colorado charities. We provide receipts so the estate can claim tax deductions.

How long does a clean out take? It depends on the size of the home and the volume of belongings:

• Small home/apartment (1–2 bedrooms): 1–2 days
• Medium home (3–4 bedrooms): 2–4 days
• Large home or hoarding situation: 5+ days

We work at a pace that's comfortable for you. If you need more time to go through items before we remove them, we accommodate that. If you need the property cleared quickly for a court deadline, we can expedite the process.

Costs vary based on the scope, but in many cases, the value of donated items (tax deductions) and items sold through an estate sale can offset or even exceed the cost of the clean out. We'll provide a clear, upfront estimate with no hidden fees.
